If you have read all the perquisites, then the following bullets should be familiar. On the Project 69 page, you only need to finish Bagua Yi and everything before it. On the Hazel page, you only need to finish Formations and everything before it. Then test yourself to see if you recognize the keywords in the following list. If you do, you are ready for this.
- Zero turns into One. One is Tai Ji, the embryo that came from nowhere.
- One, the Tai Ji, gives birth to yin and yang.
- Two means the two poles – yin and yang. In Ba Zi, two characters collide or merge with each other.
- Three refers to the three dimensions. The eight octants are the eight trigrams. Three also refers to the three lines of a trigram. The Tesla number 3 is associated with three plates or flashcards for the digrams. Also, the three layers are mathematics, physics and philosophy. Yi has three interpretations, change, no change and easy. In Ba Zi, three earthly branches form a union or an alliance. Three is also the number of branches in inflictions.
- Four means the four quadrants – the four cardinal directions and the four seasons. Also, we have the four pillars.
- Five refers to the five elements, Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth.
- Six are the six lines in a hexagram. The number 6 also refers to the four cardinal directions plus up and down. The Tesla number 6 is associated with six plates or flashcards for the trigrams. A yin line is 6. In Ba Zi, six pairwise interactions in the branches.
- Seven represents the five elements plus yin and yang. This combination is considered harmony in Confucianism, kindness and beauty in Taoism. Also, we find the number seven in the Seven Zhuan. In Ba Zi, the most feared god is Seven Kills.
- Eight means the eight trigrams. The eight directions are north, south, east, west, northeast, southwest, northwest and southeast. Also, Ba Zi means eight characters.
- Nine means the nine palaces of Later Heaven Bagua. It refers to the nine cells of the magic square which is 8 + 1, i.e., the eight directions plus the center. A yang line is 9. There are 36 plates or flashcards for the 64 hexagrams. The number 36 maps to the Tesla number 9. Each canon has 18 flashcards. The umber 18 also maps to the Tesla number 9. In Ba Zi, nine of the ten heavenly stems form three auspicious triplets.
- Ten means the ten directions. They are the eight directions plus up and down. Ten also refers to the ten heavenly stems which are the five elements polarized (2 × 5 = 10). Of course, we also have the Ten Wings. The sixteen quadrigrams require ten plates or flashcards. Also, we have the ten gods in Ba Zi.
