In the movie The Matrix, when Morpheus asks Neo if he believes in fate, Neo responds with “No. Because I don’t like the idea that I’m not in control of my life.” Then the two talk about the matrix a bit. Morpheus tells Neo that he must experience the matrix to see what it is.
